The New York Sunday Mirror was the Sunday edition of the New York Daily Mirror, launched by the Hearst organization in 1924 and published until 1963. This small gallery of issues from the late 1930s and early 1940s is intended to show the typical layout of the newspaper’s front and back covers. Headlines often had nothing to do with the photographs, which referred to stories inside. The back covers are at the end of this gallery.
